HEART Locker
Donations Coordinator and Director
The HEART Locker Donations Coordinator and Director prefers to remain anonymous. She has a heart for services and has been working in the HEART Locker for the past 8 years.
She has an eye to detail and sorts through all the donations received at the locker. She oversees the HEART locker lead volunteers working with them to ensure the locker is always fully and beautifully stocked.
She coordinates with many local consignment stores and maintains relationships in the community that keep the donations coming in.
She absolutely loves working with the teen and young adult volunteers at the locker and does life skill and job training skills with them teaching them to keep the locker well organized and stocked.
She is the lead staff for incoming donations, sorting, stocking, and working with teen and adult volunteers to make the locker the beautiful space that Evergreen and Kalispell families have come to know and love.

Allison is excited and humbled to be part of the Heart Program as a social work first-year practicum student. Although a native New Yorker, Allison came to northwest Montana in 1995 and never looked back.

After getting her MBA in 2009, Allison began on a professional path in human resources; and when not at the Heart Program, can be found at Community Action Partnership of Northwest Montana as their Personnel Manager. However, a desire to support and empower others in all aspects of their lives recently led her back to school, with a goal to obtain her MSW and ultimately become a licensed clinical social worker.

Allison’s early years at a performing arts high school are still evident in the way she sings random show tunes and makes up words to existing songs. She loves trees, anything and everything weird and creative, and people who help her see new perspectives. Her personal mantra is 'kindness is power' and she tries to live that mantra each day. She is looking forward to learning, helping, and growing with the amazing individuals at the Heart Program.

Growing up Mandy served in many volunteer roles with under served families and found she loved working in kitchens, gardens, and after school programs with under served communities.
In a wildly non-linear career Mandy has a Masters in Studio art and had a wonderful 7 years as a professional artist and teaching artist.  As an artist she was interested in environmental justice and got involved in the local food movement.  In 2013 she founded and ran an organic farm in Kalispell for 7 years.  In 2020 she returned to care work with teens and worked at the Flathead Youth Home as a youth councilor and then worked with teens at the Center For Restorative Youth Justice (CRYJ).
She is an open hearted enthusiastic listener and loves both the direct service and community building aspects of this role.
